Don't forget!!

For the past few days I have come to re-realize that Jesus is always there. That He never left.

With so many things going on around us... we tend to worry about things we have no control over. We find ourselves stressing over: money being tight, work being stressful, relationships going down the drain, depression and so on and so forth. We fale to remember that God IS right there. Waiting for us to seek Him.

Why is it that we focus on these minor things? Why do we not rememeber that God is much bigger than any bill, sickness, unemployment, lonliness and/or confusion? Instead of praising God through our storm and realizing that we are blessed, we sickin ourselves with things we have no control over.

Don't forget:
Don't forget... that Jesus is the great I Am.
Don't forget... he seeks a relationship with us all.
Don't forget that... Jesus Christ is waiting for an invitation to come in to your life. In fact, he says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in" (Revelation 3:20).
Don't forget that... "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Don't forget to... seek a relationship with Him.
Don't forget to... let your light shine!!

Why don't we understand that when we allow for things to be bigger than God, we are only entertaining the devil. One who's not even worth it. The devil's job is to wear and tear us down... and NOT build us back up.

Your walk will not be easy... But someone once told me that; "anything worth having... is worth not quiting on". DON'T quit on Jesus. He hasn't quit on you!!

In due time things will get easier. Things will be more managable. Your storm will pass.
But for now... You've got to go through... to get to... what God has for you.

DON'T FORGET!

Need over Want = Need and Want!

Be thankful that you don't already have everything your heart desires. If you did, what would you have to look forward to?
-We tend to believe that if we had money stacked in the bank or stocks and bonds galore, that we will be happy. We are all forgetting about the real account that must be filled. The account for God. You don't just do this by only paying your tithes and offerings, but by loving God and all of His children.

Be thankful when you don't know everything,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn:

-There are so many things that we do not know. People that believe education can be earned at an accredited college or in a seminar. But what about the Bible. What about the knowledge that will help us to grow as 'a child of God'. The knowledge that is needed to learn about the most important topic of all? GOD! Building the relationship with him that can and will Fill your Need thus providing your unknown or known Wants.

Be thankful for the difficult times that may come.
During those times you will grow while leaning on the Lord:

-What we tend to not realize is that God longs for a relationship with His children. Regardless of good or bad times. He wants us to draw near to Him. Sometimes going through rough times and always coming out of (understand, some peoples storm lasts longer than others, but you will always go through a storm) them shows his grace, glory and mercy. Shows how blessed we are. Yet we ask: "why me?" or "what did I do to deserve this?"... We never say: "okay Lord, lets ride this one 'til the wheels fall off... TOGETHER!" or "thanks for bringing me through this one Lord!".

Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for mental and spiritual improvements:

-Spend time with God. Some limitations are really opportunities for you to meditate and converse with God. When your riding to work or cleaning up around the house. Limitations are what I think is Gods way of 'pumping our breaks'. For us to hold on and realize... It is not a Need.. but a want and therefore not a necessity.

Be thankful for each new challenge you will face,
because it will build your strength and character day by day.
& be thankful for your mistakes, for they are truly lessons to be learned:

-We are as children... Opening our eyes to the unforeseen things of this world. God knows we are only human. He is not expecting you to be sinless... but prefers for your to Sin Less. Once you vow to God to walk with him... you can't keep 'touching that hot stove'... It Is HOT! Press forward always in your walk.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference.
For when we receive Gods blessings, we forget to be thankful and grateful.
SO…

Remember, gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.

Thus filling your Need over your Want which equals your Needs & Wants.

Get it! Got it! Good!!!

Worry No More!!!

God doesn't want you to live worried and anxious about anything. He knows that worrying is counter-productive. It steals your peace and joy and affects every area of your life, even your sleep! Have you heard the saying, 'Don't worry yourself sick?'... Yes, worrying will actually make you physically sick, feeling like you are unable to face the day. You won't ever gain anything by worrying, in fact it causes you to lose precious moments that you can never live again.
The good news is, God has promised to bring you victory over worry. When you make the choice to put an end to worrying and focus on your walk with God, He WILL give you His peace. Decide today to put an end to the worries in your life.
Sure, we should be informed, but we should be most informed of the truth of the Word of God. Choose today to feed your faith and fill your heart and mind with God's promises. All of which can be found in His book. The Bible. Declare everyday, 'My God shall supply all my needs. He makes a way out of no way. He is a Restorer and Redeemer.' As you focus on God's Word, you'll drive out worry and fill your heart with faith and expectancy. You'll be filled with hope and joy and will be able to move forward into the blessings God has in store for you.
